Applying Online
You may experience intermittant technical difficulty using the Online Application on Friday, October 10th. If so, please try again. We apologize for any inconvenience. For first time or returning students…
Before you start applying online, be prepared with information you need by reading the following:
Who Can Apply Online?
If you are an Alberta resident and are attending full-time post-secondary studies, you may be eligible to apply online for financial assistance.
There are some situations when you cannot apply online:
- if you are concurrently enrolled in two post-secondary institutions at the same time in order to be considered a full-time student for student funding purposes
- if you are attending an exchange or field study program
- if you are taking upgrading courses
- if you have already submitted a paper application
If You Have a Permanent Disability
If you are a student with a permanent disability, you may also apply online but you may be required to submit a paper Schedule 4 depending on your circumstances. Read the information sheet for complete information on how to apply for student funding. See below for locations that can provide a paper Schedule 4.
If You Cannot Apply Online
If you are not eligible to apply online, obtain a paper application and/or a Schedule 4 (for students with permanent disabilities):
